Aulus Cornelius Celsus (ca 25 BC—ca 50), who lived in the first century AD, described plastic surgery of the face, using skin from other parts of the body.




Sir Archibald McIndoe CBE FRCS (4 May 1900 — 11 April 1960) was a pioneering New Zealand plastic surgeon who worked for the Royal Air Force during World War II. He greatly improved the treatment and rehabilitation of badly burned aircrew.


AGM 2013

Dear colleagues,


This is to announce that the AGM 2013 of the Hong Kong Society of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons, is scheduled to take place in Meeting Room 2, 2/F, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Building, Wong Chuk Hang, to start at 7:30pm on 14th November 2013. Details and Forms have been emailed to every member on 15th Oct, followed by postage 16th Oct morning. This time we also have the election of the Council 2013-15. All members are urged to take note of the information sent to you and respond in time.
