Aulus Cornelius Celsus (ca 25 BC—ca 50), who lived in the first century AD, described plastic surgery of the face, using skin from other parts of the body.




Sir Archibald McIndoe CBE FRCS (4 May 1900 — 11 April 1960) was a pioneering New Zealand plastic surgeon who worked for the Royal Air Force during World War II. He greatly improved the treatment and rehabilitation of badly burned aircrew.

IMCAS Hong Kong 2012


This event takes place on 4 to 6 October 2012 at the Intercontinental Hotel TST Level 2 and our Society is an official supporter of this conference.


Members who are interested are encouraged to attend. The main programme starts tomorrow at 8:30am. Members who are not yet registered and who have not asked for complimentary admission may wish to register on the spot (requiring registration fee).
