Special Forum 10th Oct 2013

Dear colleagues,

Please be informed that there will be a Special Forum on High Risk Procedures in the Ambulatory Setting to be held next Thursday 10th Oct 2013 to start at 7:30pm, Banquet Room 2-3, 3/F Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Building. The background of this Forum is related to the Expert Group on Surgical Procedures formed under the Working Group on Defining High-Risk Medical Procedures/Practices Performed in Ambulatory Setting of the Dept of Health. The Society has been asked to submit its views on office procedures which are of high risk. The collected views will enable the Working Group to ultimately make suggestions that are conducive to possible legislation related to the regulation and registration of medical facilities. Your views as members of the Society are very important and we hope that everyone's view can be reflected. All members should therefore make a diligent attempt to come and join in the discussion.
