Aulus Cornelius Celsus (ca 25 BC—ca 50), who lived in the first century AD, described plastic surgery of the face, using skin from other parts of the body.




Sir Archibald McIndoe CBE FRCS (4 May 1900 — 11 April 1960) was a pioneering New Zealand plastic surgeon who worked for the Royal Air Force during World War II. He greatly improved the treatment and rehabilitation of badly burned aircrew.


CME Lecture 26th April 2012

A special Plastic Surgery CME lecture is scheduled to take place on the 26th April, 7-8pm in the Lotus-Bamboo Room, Hong Kong Golf Club, Deep Water Bay.


We have Prof. David Chiu from the United States talking on his innovation "Autogenous Venous Nerve Conduit: From Experimentation to Clinical Application". 


Dinner (sponsored by the Society) will be served after the lecture.
